It might be getting more conservative again in D.C.

I visited Good Guys in D.C. on a Weds. afternoon and got several lap dances. To my surprise, they now wear pasties during lap dances, which wasn't the case before. They now either stay completely clothed, or if the bra comes off then the pasties go on, so the lap dances aren't topless anymore like they used to be. You can still touch, so at least touching is still in effect, but you'll be touching covered breasts which isn't enjoyable. They were recently issued some kind of police order to stay covered up in the back rooms.

I don't know if that extends to higher-level dances. Their LDs are already expensive and the starter options are $110, $165, $220. It's a totally bad deal now, and my several $220, 15-min dances were a waste.

Some positives about this club are that it's cozy, mainstream, in a nice and safe neighborhood in D.C., and importantly, it often has curvy and busty women for those of us who like that type, both white and Hispanic. For comparison, I was in Philly recently which is far more liberal and high mileage (e.g. Cheerleaders), but all the girls were slender and small chested, and I couldn't find any busty ones. Also to D.C.'s credit, it's Full Nude with Alcohol, which is unheard of by US standards. But this new Lap Dance development signals an unfortunate return to D.C. conservatism. Now it's just better to drive to Philly for mainstream clubs with good LDs.
