Thursday Afternoon Visit

I did my monthly strip clubbing all in one week earlier this month when I went to CB's on consecutive Saturdays with a Thursday afternoon visit at PIAS's sandwiched in between. Totally different experiences between the two clubs, which is no surprise based on my experiences over the years.

Walked in to PIAS's at 3:00 on a Thursday afternoon and was stopped at a roped off entrance on the right side. A manager type approached me from the left and asked for ID, and a bouncer type was manning the rope. Both were polite and professional. Got the OK from the manager, after which the bouncer had me assume the position and wanded me. All good.

The bar was over half full, mostly with VP players. There were three dancers out on the floor and I saw that another one had just left the stage and went to the back (dressing room, I assume). Sat down and ordered a beer for $7 and was quickly approached to a classic stripper type: about 45-50, blonde, bolt-ons, fairly tall, and somewhat stocky. Chatted for about 10 minutes and discussed the club's history, past owners, dances who she and I were both familiar with, and so forth. She became comfortable with me in that she knew that I wasn't a newbie. Of course, she shortly thereafter pushed for a $20 dance in what I always refer to as "the cubby holes" on the left side, so we settled in over there. The dance was pretty basic, with the standard over-the-top moaning on her part.
