The Little Dive Bar That Could

Pinky's is a little dive bar along State Street, a few miles south of Salt Lake. It's a friendly place, with the usual old time regulars during day shifts and couples and groups on weekend nights. No cover ever.

As it serves alcohol, dancers can only strip down to thongs and pasties, no nudity. They dance on a small rectangular stage with a pole and rails. There are chairs and stools around 3 sides of the stage. The bar area has about 8 stools and then there are 6-8 high tables and chairs. They serve food if the cook is there (burgers, wings, nachos, etc). Bathroom is tiny but relatively clean.

I get a pint of Michelob Ultra for $5 and sit down to catch the end of the 12p-4p shift. Araya, Vicious and Gypsy were rotating every 15 minutes. 3-4 songs, first song is clothed, then down to thong and pasties. I missed Araya, a cute latina with a slim but curvy figure who also bartends sometimes. Gypsy was dancing when I arrived and she's a sexy and sassy well-endowed blonde who makes the most of the small stage. Vicious was next, and she's my favorite strawberry shortcake goth dominatrix. I love her look and her choice of outfits, authenticity, her body and fantastic breasts. As the 4p-7p shift started, Smokey started dancing - she's a full-figured Mia Goth lookalike. Dancers sometimes mingle among the crowd in between their sets and they are all very friendly and welcoming. Dancers are featured on their IG - @pinkys.cabaret.
