Classic Stip Club Fun at Polekatz

Thoroughly enjoyed my brief stop here last Tuesday! The club is located in an industrial/commercial area with an odd smattering of occasional residential properties. There’s a hotel/motel less than a block away that someone could realistically walk to the club from while still feeling fairly safe. I was advised by a friend who had been to Polekatz to avoid the valet/parking lot. Apparently they charge a fair bit for almost nothing. So, I ended up parking at the hotel.

Walking into the place, you immediately enter a long hallway that curves to the right. There I met a lady who took coats and collected cover charge ($10) Then you take a left and finally end up at the main floor. It’s weird to say, but I generally don’t like when the clubs seem like such a labyrinth to enter. I know it’s strange but i like being hit with the energy of a place instantly.

A giant guy (Rob maybe?) wearing a black suit and black shirt came to greet me after the coat check. He was incredibly nice but he was intimidating and you could tell that he was a very no-nonsense bouncer. He asked about what I was doing in town and whether it was my first time at the club. From there, he led me to a high top booth by the stage. I gave him a $5 bill
