Same as it ever was

I moved back to Austin recently after about ten years away. I was East and in this part of town and decided to go by XTC and see if it was still there. Surprisingly it has survived. It was after work about 6:30 on a Thursday so I didn't expect it be crowded. I parked on the free side of the building so I'm unsure what the paid parking lot price is now. Admission was still twenty dollars. It still smells like stale beer, stripper and smoke.

Outside and inside were the same as I remember them. There are some new little booths they built off the main stage which I assume are for more private dances. I didn't get a rundown on the cost of those. There was probably 15 patrons including myself and maybe ten to twelve girls. I was the only white person in the place. Every dancer was Hispanic/Cuban. I would say the average hotness was about a 5. Honestly it was kind of grim. I wasn't expecting the A team but wasn't expecting this either.

I wanted to tip the girl on stage to put some more clothes back on. They get fully nude which can be challenging at times. There are three stages and so the girls do a three stage rotation. By the third song on main stage they are naked. Most of the girls just stay naked through other stages.
