Visited: Thursday Afternoon

Long time lurker, infrequent poster. Given that there haven’t been many reviews since reopening I decided to take one for the team and do a little scouting. I arrived on a Thursday afternoon a little after 300PM, and parked for $10.00. After a thorough pat down I paid a $10.00 cover. Two things to note: (1) I don’t have any intel on evening prices as I’m strictly dayshift kinda guy. (2) I only drink water when I’m in the clubs, so I’m not sure of overall drink prices, but a small bottle of Fiji ran me $6.00.

The layout hasn’t changed for those of you familiar with the club. For those that aren’t: after you pay the cover you walk through a set of double doors and are immediately facing a bar. To your right is a separate room that functions primarily as a hookah lounge. Mostly high tops, and a large TV overhead, but there are also a few small “VIP” stalls with black curtains on the wall. The main room with the bar is effectively 2 areas: the first area has the aforementioned bar, the entrance to the bathrooms (Sparky the attendant is still there), and a relatively small raised stage opposite to the bar. The second area is sunken, with about 2-3 stairs to go down. The center of this sunken area is dominated by a long stage with 2 poles. On the surrounding walls are low padded benches with rectangular coffee tables bolted into the floor. There are also a few low tops surrounding the stage. The raised DJ booth is also in this area. The lighting is a tad bright in some spots of the sunken area, but also darker in certain places, so choose your seat carefully. There’s also a downstairs basement area, but I’ve never actually been down there in all of my past visits so I can’t comment.

When I arrived the sunken area was dead, but a few gents were sitting at the bar and in the hookah lounge. I didn’t get an accurate headcount of dancers but I’d guess less than 10 at first, mainly Black or morena Latina, plus 1 fair skinned Latina with bolt-ons that works at Vivide. A few more dancers trickled in as the afternoon went on, many of which are familiar if you’ve been to Vivide lately, but again I wasn’t really keeping count. A few of the girls got on the main stage one the course of the afternoon, but it wasn’t really in use most of the time, and in all fairness nobody was sitting close to the stage to tip.
