OK Time, But Not Great.

Stopped by Columbus Gold on Thursday at about 8:30 PM after a business meeting. There was bouncer at the door that checked my Driver’s License. I gave a coupon for no cover charge that I printed from their website, to the girl at the window, so I had to pay no cover charge. I walked right in without any problems.

When you walk in the bar is to your left. It is an oval bar that extends across the building. To your right is the main area of the club and the stage is on the far wall. The room is covered with small 4 person tables and. The private dance area is behind the bar and is small cubicles without doors or curtains. There is another high dollar VIP dance area way around to your right and at the far end of the building. The club is overall clean and kept in good condition.

There were 9 guys at the bar spread out. At the far corner of the bar is a really big guy talking to three dancers, and was buying them drinks. About five times through the night he got up, went to the stage and made it rain. Needless to say he was spending a lot of money, but no dances.

I sat at the bar for about 15 minutes before anybody took my order for a Michelob Ultra which was $5.

I sat by myself for 45 minutes before a dancer finally joined me. This really pissed me off and was ready to leave when she joined be. After chatting for a while we went back for a dance, which was $30. The dance was just OK, but hey this is Columbus, what do you expect.
