First time meh - but good potential

Rolled thru Phoenix for the first time in a lotta years, and the reviews for Christie's looked good. The place is pretty big, and mostly one big room. There's a stage front and center, with a few chairs around the tip row, and then a section with small tables and chairs behind that. Along the back wall theres a row of chairs to watch the stage and the room. On the front left theres a bar, but there are waitresses everywhere, and seems like just the girls hang out at the bar. Next to the bar are the bathrooms. There was a weird raised section toward the back right, where it looked like a second small stage could be used for dancing, but it was dark and nobody was up there. And then on the far right theres the LD section, a kind of second space up a couple of stairs with couches all around it.

Got there around 10 at night. One girl would dance on the main stage at a time, while a bunch of girls would roam around. There were a lot of Cubans, who pretty constantly would come up and ask if I wanted a dance. I dont like to take a dance without a conversation first, so I had to keep turning them down.

For some reason, the waitresses dont come up to ask if you want a drink. They passed me by back and forth for like 10 minutes before I figured out they werent busy with other orders, I had to flag one down. Got a good mixed drink with some whiskey and it was only like $10 (Im used to more in other cities).
