Nice looking but dead
Stopped into El Padrino at about 9pm on a Wednesday evening since I was in the area and heard it was a new club. Kinda hard to find as the signage is not very visible from Armenia. Trust the GPS, and you'll find it.
The door girl charged me $20 to get in and, after taking the money, tells me that "the bar is open, and the girls are getting ready." I tipped a couple bucks because I'm a nice guy.
Upon entering, the place looks very classy ... Bar down the left side with bottles displayed on shelves and decorations invoking '20s gangsters (there's a fake Tommy Gun on the wall behind the bar). Opposite the bar, there are a handful of two-person, high-top tables adorned with black tablecloths next to a knee wall that opens to a larger area. In that larger area, there is a small "main stage" with two poles, along with tables (also with black tablecloths) and chairs, and a few benches along the wall. On the bar side of the knee wall, at the back, is a small riser/stage with another pole. It looked like there was another room further back, but I did not get a chance to explore beyond the main area.
