Remember your first girlfriend?

Playhouse Lounge
1205 US Route 130 N Burlington, NJ 08016
Playhouse doesn't have the most glamourous dancers in NJ, but all are at least average looking or better, and quite friendly. Maybe 10-15 working the night I arrived, not sure of the exact number. Management is easy going and you're unlikely to feel their presence. Although Playhouse has the feel of a dive bar, you'll feel safe both in the parking lot and in the bar. One thing you'll notice upon arriving at Playhouse is out of state license plates: This is a destination people are willing to visit from PA and NY for a reason, and that reason has only a passing relationship to drinking beer and watching women dance on a stage. VIP dances are the feature attraction, and while there are American girls (one in particular) willing to make the VIP (plus tip, which will at least double the cost) worth your while, you're likely to have a more wholesome and memorable experience that doesn't vaguely remind of you a billboard advertising the availability of naloxone with one of the girls who doesn't speak English as her first language. Is Playhouse worth the money? Yes. You'll end up being approached endlessly for dollar bills by dancers who work the room and aren't dancing. Some may let you roam in full view, but even the ones who don't will be worth every dollar you spend in a VIP dance. Expect to be asked to get comfortable, and to be encouraged to touch and explore, within limits, like you're with the very first girlfriend you ever had. Just don't expect to spend less than $150 or so even if you're being thrifty. Playhouse has been around a very long time, and there's a very good reason. I'll be back for sure.
