Nothing special to a fun night!

I stopped by Night Moves last weekend while visiting Bloomington, and it was a solid experience for what it is a no-frills strip club in a college town. As the only spot of its kind in the area, I wasn’t expecting much. What it did offer was a very small party vibe, friendly staff, and a decent night out.

Got there around 9 PM on a Saturday. I think the cover was $10, which felt fair. The place was starting to fill up, mostly with a mix of locals and what seemed like IU students blowing off steam. The new location on South Walnut is easy to find, and the parking lot’s well-lit, I remember it being on the other side of town. Inside, it’s small but clean, with one stage, a couple of poles, and some tables packed in tight. Not fancy, but it works.

The dancers were a mixed bag—some were really into it and put on a good show, others seemed like they were just clocking in. A couple of them chatted with me at the table next to the stage. They were doing the typic stripper talk, didn’t push too hard for tips or dances.

Drinks were reasonably priced $4 for domestic and the bartender was quick, even as it got busier.

I didn’t go for a lap dance ($30, from what I heard), but the VIP room was apparently an option if you’re feeling spendy.
