Friday early evening - 2 girls only

Traveling between New York and DC, I stopped into Delilah‘s on a Friday late afternoon. There was no cover charge from the cute girl out front and after the metal detector I sat at a bar that had only two or three patrons and two or three at tables beside the catwalk. It was around 5 PM and I noticed only two dancers, both who immediately came over to say hello. One seemed very nice the other pushy when I asked if I could answer a call instead of buying her a drink. Even after hanging out until past seven, there was a rotation of only those two dancers and an empty stage during songs. I left after 7:30 seeing only two dancers dance on stage since I arrived.

The club is laid out where a catwalk comes from an upstairs balcony area and is bookended by two circular bars. Girls do 2 to 3 dance sets and sometimes there is more than one girl on stage Dances are $20 but I did not partake during my last visit. I can’t explain why there were just so few girls on a Friday night past seven – I had thought that I didn’t need to come in with the younger late night crowd after midnight in order to see some girls. I’m not sure I will stop here on future Philly visits.
