First time back in a while

My visits to the clubs have slowed down considerably. It’s unfortunate that life has gotten in the way, but it is what it is. I was headed to DTW so it gave me a chance to swing by Criket which is awesome. I literally ran into one of my ATFs in the parking lot on the way in. I took this as a sign it was gonna be a good visit.

SC is a mid tier club with a consistent day shift showing. It’s considerably better than Bogarts or Henry’s in terms of quality of dancer and atmosphere. No smoking inside (vaping is ok) and it’s clean. No bathroom attendant and no valet, so minimal tipping /spending on ancillary crap. The layout is decent with one stage with two poles in the center of the room. I never sit in a booth, but I know there is a charge for that.

The only strike against the place is the VIP area is pretty unimpressive. There’s one decent sized cubby with a couch directly behind the DJ booth. The rest of the cubbies are cramped and not great. It’s a one time $10 fee to get in VIP. Drinks are reasonable and I got a Red Bull for like $11 with tip.
