I visited New Orleans a few weeks ago for one of my friends' birthdays. The rest of our group called it a fairly early night, and the birthday boy and I found our way to the Absinthe Bar for a few late-night cocktails. He does not frequent strip clubs, and I rarely indulge anymore. However, with a few drinks in us and away from the wives, we decided to visit one of the clubs on Bourbon Street. The fact that I had a good amount of cash helped I (don't have to explain charges to the SO).

Since the Hustler Club was a short walk away, we ventured there. The club has a counter that checks your ID, and you pay the cover ($20) before entering. There is a huge door that they buzz you in, probably to avoid drunks trying to sneak in. Once inside, there is a huge bar to the left with a main stage to the right. This stage has the famous 2-story pole.

My friend and I grabbed a couple of Miller High Lifes ($11 a piece, so basic strip club over pricing). A cute tattooed blonde approached us immediately, but I told her we wanted to settle in a bit. We then grabbed some chairs not too far from the stage and immediately were accompanied by a cute Asian and a brunette European. We chatted for a bit, and my friend decided he wanted to get some dances from the Asian girl, which I paid for ($50 for 30 minutes).
