Return to Paper Moon
I parked in the large, free lot just around the corner from the front entrance. It took a while to get in as I had to wait until the door bouncer returned to scan my ID and wand me before I was allowed to pay my cover ($5) and enter the club. I will say that both the doorman and the girl at the entry desk were both friendly, professional and were profusely apologetic for the delay. Hey, I'm retired - I have lots of time to spare.
I entered the main room and ordered a cider. Surprise! Happy hour pricing was in effect and it only cost me $6 vs the $11 it had cost me in past visits. There were no more than five other customers there when I arrived but the single stage in operation was constantly occupied.
One feature that was new to me was the display of dancers on a couple of the TV monitors, which included who was on stage, who was on deck and the order of all the dancers. A nice touch and very appreciated by this monger.
