Unexpected Gems in Stockton’s Deja Vu

I stumbled upon Deja Vu Showgirls while driving through Stockton on a Wednesday. It is a pink building in an industrial area that didn’t look too bad considering Stockton’s reputation for high crime. Curious, I decided to check it out.

I first arrived at 4 PM right when they opened but there were no dancers present. I returned around 10 PM. I don’t recall the cover fee but a male security guard checked me in.

The club was smaller than I expected. Immediately upon entering I was hit with a strong urine smell, likely because the bathrooms are right at the entrance. The men’s room was filthy. The main area featured a single stage and a bar. I grabbed a drink and took a seat by the stage.
