Slow But Steady Thursday

Another Thursday, another trip to Gold Room. I skipped valet and parked in the lot behind Knockouts. Paid $10 cover and then mandatory coat check. After that I was greeted by someone who then showed me to my seat. Would prefer if they would let me pick my own spot but c’est la vie.

Usual setup with the main stage - two girls dancing at the same time on opposite ends of the stage. Decently crowded when I arrived at 10, but the ratio of dancers to patrons was pretty even. Had a waitress come by to take my drink immediately - and the wait staff here are always gorgeous.

Was quickly approached by a young Mexican dancer who sat down with me. We chatted for a bit before making our way to the back area for $10 dances. For those who don’t know, this is a public dance area where you will see others. We got a decent spot in the back and she got to work. Honestly, wasn’t the most inspired dance but she let my hands roam freely. You will need to be cautious of the bouncer who does roll through occasionally but if you’re even semi paying attention it’s not a problem. After a few dances she tried to upsell to CR. Initially offered 30 min for $475 and then $300 for 15. I declined - paid for the 4 songs and went back to my seat.
