Vegas Club not at all like Vegas Clubs

I was traveling through (on I-43) the area heading South for some snow birding. This area was one I frequented during my working days, which were pre-pandemic. I often stopped in here and at the Show Palace, which is on the east side of the interstate and they're only a few miles apart. Both were OK places, but nothing to rave about. What I did like about the Vegas Club was that they had decent food, as in bar food, but at least good bar food that was reasonably priced, like a good burger, fries, and a beer for under $20.

Anyway, I chose to stop here on a midweek afternoon, primarily for lunch but hoping for some luck in the lap dance arena. Ample parking in an open lot. Walked in and no one charged me for the entry, which used to be and probably is like $5. Beers were $4 a can, and staff was friendly. Moderate tipping levels seemed to be appreciated by staff, which isn't always the case in higher end clubs.

The clientele were most middle-aged to old white guys, so I fit right in. There were 5-6 customers and 3 dancers, one of whom spent the whole hour that I was there with an apparent regular of hers. Too bad, because she was the most attractive of the three, and I would have gladly taken a dance or two from her. The dances were $25 a song and topless. For $150 you could get 30 minutes in the back VIP room. I chatted up a local guy sitting next to me, and he said that the VIP could, or could not, be worth it, depending totally on the girl herself. Regardless, genuinely "high mileage" was, he said, not to be had.
