Nice visit as expected

It was midnight or just before and admission was $10. I tipped a buck. The last visit was maybe, damn it, 5 years ago. The interior hasn't changed much since then, except perhaps the lighting is a little brighter. The main part of the club is laid out like an backward L, with a stage near the corner and a small bar at each end. As you enter, between the stage and the bar on the left are one or two rows of tables and chairs, then a pool table. More tables and chairs to the right of the stage and between the stage and the other bar. Never difficult to find a free space; tonight was no different.

What was different was that I didn't smell anyone smoking. I don't know if the laws have changed, but I thought I saw little ashtrays on some tables. I saw maybe 10 girls - 1 on stage and the others with clients or sitting alone. It went from "thanks but no" to "wouldn't kick her out of bed for snoring." As always, YMMV. You never know what you're going to find until you get there.

No waitress stopped by, and that was fine by me. I didn't have time to stay that long anyway. Wasn't 5 minutes before the cutest little thing I'd ever seen, who'd been camped out on her phone beyond the end of the stage, decided to come over. Small, but not a spinner. Brunette, short hair but not too short. Small, cute bewbs – the kind all our first girlfriends had. And she knew how to start and carry a conversation that felt sincere rather than forced. She hadn't been dancing for a year yet and was a bartender before that. Started on the day shift, but promoted herself to nights and management didn't say word one. After a few minutes of talking, she casually shifted her stance to straddle one of my legs and gently bounce my knee between hers. She knew how to market herself.
