Nana Plaza

Arrived in Bangkok the night before. Jet lagged but wanted to explore. Walked along Sukhumvit from my hotel to visit infamous Nana Plaza. Quick turn down one of the side streets and you will see it in all it's glory. It's a three story plaza with dozens of go-go bars. There are people everywhere. Note: there is no picture taking once in the plaza. There is a cursory security checkpoint with a guard waving people through.

Each story has multiple go-go bars. Tourists, ex-pats, locals (not too many of those) and workers all over the place. You can walk along the entrances and glance inside to the various go-go bars. There will be doormen and girls trying to get you to come in, but they aren't too aggressive about it.

I did a lap and with prior research ended up at Billboard, which was on the top floor. It's apparently one of the bigger go-go bars in the plaza. There are two stages. A big one on the left and a smaller one on the right with a big bathtub full of soapy water. I get seated by the host right against the right stage.
