First Visit to Pony Bama: A Couples Review

Couples Review - I hit up Pony Bama with my wife on Saturday. This was our first visit here, and our 3rd visit together to a strip club. Previous stops have been at a full nude spot (Lush) in WV, and our first was to Sammy's in Ft Walton Beach, FL. My wife has done a good bit of reading of sex worker bios and says couples have a reputation of being cheap, so we always try to make sure we're treating the girls right, but honestly I don't know what normal is. I'll list our tips below and suspect we're doing OK.

PLACE: We arrived at Pony Bama around 8:30 PM. There was security coming in (pat down for me), and they only looked in my wife's purse. It's a smaller area than I was expecting in the main area, but at that time of night it was easy to find a place to sit. We did a 15 minute private dance and was taken upstairs where there were a lot of places for dances that were little booths with a curtain for privacy. Overall I felt the lighting inside was great, other than a rotating spotlight that kept shining in my face. The music level was good and overall the DJ wasn't too annoying. I didn't pay close attention to the music, but believe it was primarily EDM, Top 40, and Rock (Don't recall any rap). They had a few TVs and had the NFL playoff game on and a college basketball game. One odd thing we noticed is that hardly anyone was tipping the dancers on stage. One guy was consistently tipping, but for the most part, it was pretty dead. We tipped a couple of dancers, but honestly none of the dancers that we were interested in were going on stage because they kept having private dances. They did have a display showing the order of the girls going on stage, which I thought was nice.

PEOPLE: The girls checking us in were fairly attractive, probably about 7s. The waitresses were nothing to look at. Honestly pretty disappointing, but overall the club skewed lower. There were 3 dancers that we thought were hot, and another 1 or 2 that were OK. The dancers wore pasties. A blonde (forgot her name, maybe Reese?) with fake tits and a good bit of work came up to us and starting talking to us. She told us she was 43. My wife is 44, so she was kind of shook because this girl looked about 30. She also told us that several of the other girls were 40+ too (this was more obvious for the other girls). We talked to Reese for about 10 minutes and really enjoyed the conversation. Due to similarity in age it was honestly very fun and kind of took us out of the moment of being in a strip club. But then it turned to business so we got a 15 minute private dance with Reese. She didn't give us any rules, but I asked if I was allowed to touch and she said yes. She let us grab and rub her tits/ass/legs. My wife always wants them to dance on me, but dancers always seem to prefer to dance on her. Reese did a good job of giving us both plenty of attention and keeping it fun. After the dance, we went back and got a place to sit to check out more of the girls. Despite attempting to lure them to us with smiles and inviting body language, no one else came by to solicit anything. I stopped one of the other hot girls (Jannelle) and she introduced herself and just said let her know if we wanted a dance and left. We did want a dance, but were put off that she blew us off and suspected perhaps she may not have been comfortable with us as a couple. The other hot girls were always busy, possibly with regulars or just avoiding us as a couple. Reese who we had the private dance with when we first got there, didn't stop back by and talk to us again. After 2 hours, instead of hanging around, we decided to go to another strip club in town (Rocket City Showgirls) to check that one out. I'll post a review of RCSG, but if you're reading this and wondering how they compare, we wished we had stayed at Pony Bama (There were 0 hot girls in our opinion at RCSG). The girls were mostly white, saw 1 black girl. Of the white girls, some obviously also had asian/latin for the dark hair dark complexion look, but didn't see an obvious Asian or Latina girl.
