An Overall Satisfying Visit !

Finally, I decided to make some time to do a solo visit to TB, without any friend/s or OTC hookup/s coming in the way.It’s been a while since I’ve done this, especially on a Saturday evening ( my usual visits are mostly on weekdays).

It was a rather chilly/windy evening when I reached ‘ The Last USA Exit ‘.Drove up straight to the parking-lot by Jack’s coz it’s convenient, the sign by the entrance read ‘FULL’.Anyways,I still took my chances by driving up the ramp since there was only one car ahead of me waiting to enter.In less than five minutes, the car ahead of me was given the clearance to enter and then it was my turn. At the entrance gate,I paid the usual parking-fee (I think it was $18 for 8-he’s) and then instructed to drive inside within two minutes of waiting. The parking lot inside was full and had no open spaces upfront so I had to park my car all the way in the end. This is one reason I don’t like going to TJ on Friday/Saturday evenings.But still FYI, don’t get discouraged incase you see a ‘FULL’ sign outside the parking-lot, coz it’s usually still open for incoming car/s (with a minor wait time).

Then took a long walk from the parking-lot to the Mexico border-crossing area. Surprisingly, there wasn’t much rush for pedestrian traffic walking into Mexico. Crossing the gated area, upon approaching the border-agent it all went quite seamless without any sort of delays. As usual, the agent greeted me in a friendly manner and asked for my passport. He asked me for the reason of my visit to Tijuana and how long I’ll be staying, then in less than a minute I was given green-light to pass through ( no visa-stamp needed ).
