Some Major Changes

For you Mons Vets (long time club goers) there's been some changes. First, NEW MANAGEMENT/ OWNERSHIP. Gone are long time Mons staff, replaced by 2001 staffers from across the street. This occurred only in the last few days, so the transition is a work in progress with some bumps in the road.

They partially addressed one of my gripes by doing away with the $12 per dance fee, and making it a $6 fee per visit to the cubicles on the left wall of club. I say partially because some dancers were quoting $6 per dance fee. Since the cubicles aren't really private (visible to main floor patrons), IMO there shouldn't be a fee at all. The more private cubicles by right mirrored wall (drawn curtains optional) are $260 for 15 minute VIP paid upfront to bouncer dude adjacent to drink service cashier. ($60 to house, $200 to dancer.)

Sadly, they created a new gripe by the addition of a DJ whose idea of a good night is playing loud music that hinders conversation with dancers. The absence of a DJ was 1 thing I liked about going to the Mons in the past, that's out the window now.
