Slow but fun Monday visit

I travel to Houston two or three times a year and always stop by the St. James for dinner and sightseeing. On this Monday evening, the beer was cold ($9/bottle) and dinner was superb. The chef will accommodate special requests. If you like seafood, I recommend the snapper dinner. It seems that fewer patrons are smoking these days, so the air quality was pretty good.

As far as sightseeing is concerned, given it was a Monday, I wasn't expecting much. Sure enough, it was a slow night, - even the men's room attendant was nowhere to be found. The number of performers working was about 25 over a three-hour span. I would rate twenty of them at 8/10 or above with maybe five approaching 9/10. The five were showered with green from above each time they took the main stage. Not enough patrons to warrant use of the two small satellite stages on this night.

The most fun girls were the Latinas, particularly if they are from Columbia. A few of the Cubans were hard to understand by a gringo like me, but all spoke the universal lap dance language. Dances were very good to excellent but mileage will absolutely vary. When getting multiple dances, I appreciate the girls that step up their enthusiasm with each dance. Least appreciated are the girls who perform the exact same 3-minute routine on the first, second, third, fifth, etc. dance. The St. James has both types. My recommendation is to bail out after the 2nd dance if it's no different from the first.
