Not too shabby considering it's location

I would like to preface this review by letting yall know I'm a stripclub novice and a weak writer. Nonetheless I wanted to give my 2 cents about the place

Located in western lousiana next to an army base and the LA TX border Pegasus is somewhat infamous in military circles. The exterior is a plain concrete block. The interior is moderately lit with UV lights and roughly the size of a large basket court in a city park. There's a bar right as a you walk in and a small stage. Then the room opens up to about 15 tables surrounding the main stage. Directly opposite the stage is a row of alcoves for private dances. To the left of those is a nook filled with pool tables. In that nook there's a door that leads to the VIP rooms.

The music is fairly loud but the DJ plays a lot of different genres. There's a good chance you would hear several songs you know and like. Security is friendly and polite. There's an old man at the front who checks your ID. He's your classic friendly southern old timer who is missing some teeth but is over all welcoming. The place seems fairly clean and if you walk in earlier in the evening you can smell what seems to be a large amount of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals they used before opening up.

The customers are broken up into two main types. Soldiers and local blue collar laborers. The laborers are pretty friendly and will not give you any trouble. The soldiers on the other hand are complete wild cards looking for a reason to fight. They will be easy to spot as they all have crew cuts and are on the younger side. While you can have some positive interactions with the soldiers i would advise you to keep the interaction to a minimum. Unlike the customers the ladies are a mixed bag. If it's a busy night you can find whatever ethnicity dancer that floats your boat. Most of the girls are lightly tatted. Youngest I saw was about 21 and the oldest was 35. Like the ethnicities the body types were also varied. Though it was not uncommon to see some dancers with a little bit of belly fat but nothing off putting. That being said the waitresses are not particularly attractive and quite large. However they are friendly and pretty fun to talk to. Same with the dancers. Many of them would prefer to get their money by sitting with you and chatting and asking you for dances or drinks. Not a bad experience if you have enough social graces to say no properly. If you're there for talking and private dances you will have a great time. The ladies know how to carry a conversation and you will enjoy yourself. If you become a regular they will direct the bar to have whatever it is you usually drink to be on hand when you come in.
