I went to the Pegasus Lounge on a Wednesday night at 20:30. The club was just a mile from my hotel. There is a paved parking lot on the left side of the building. The club looks drab on the outside, but it is actually nicely appointed and clean inside. There was no cover charge before 21:00. I believe there was a $5 cover charge later on. There is also a Happy Hour up until 21:00. Sincweisers were $2.50 during Happy Hour and $3.50 at normal price. I got a dancer a lemon drop for $7. I bought another dancer a double shot Malibu cocktail for $13.
There is a large peninsular stage with front and back pole positions in the center back of the floorplan. To the left on the back wall is a smaller auxiliary stage. It has one pole position and mirrors behind it. The DJ booth is between the main stage and the auxiliary stage. There are five pool tables on the far right side of the room. The bar is on the left side of the room. Behind the bar is the VIP room with several leather couches. There are four private dance booths in the wall that faces the parking lot. Each booth has a see-through curtain over the doorway and a bingo hall chair inside. There is very little privacy from the rest of the club. The restrooms and the ATM are to the left not far after entering. The ATM has a $200 maximum withdrawal and a $5 fee per transaction.
The club was dead when I arrived, so I hung out with the waitress, Jennifer. She had blonde hair and DD cups, but was a little on the heavy side for me. She said some nights she works as a dancer. Eventually the dancers came out, and there were only two working on Hump Day. One was a curvy, black-haried dancer named Kitty and the other was a succubus named Stormi. Stormi had wavy black hair, blue eyes, and a fit body. She was a solid 8.5 with B cups; I found my dance partner for the evening.
Private dances are $30 per song or ten minutes for $100. These take place in the aforementioned dance booths. Bouncers will come by and peek inside. Dancers can touch the customer, but customers cannot touch the dancers during private dances. Before 21:00, private dances are only $20 per song. The VIP room is $200 for thirty minutes and $350 for sixty minutes. Customers can touch the dancers during the VIP sessions, just not in the crotch area. The VIP area is somewhat private, but the bartender can see what is happening. One of the bouncers also seemed to come by and peek inside every few songs. Based on a calculation of cost per minute and the more lenient contact rules, the thirty and sixty minute VIP sessions are the best bang for your buck here. I ended up doing two half hour VIP rooms with Stormi.
The Pegasus Lounge is the last strip club operating near Fort Johnson (formerly Fort Polk). At one time there were three strip clubs operating within a quarter mile of each other on US 171. Like every strip club I have been to near an army base, it is owned by Koreans. Most of the clientele seems to be army personnel and pipeline workers. Despite it being a slow night, I still had fun at the Pegasus Lounge. The staff was accommodating, and I appreciated the reasonable beer prices. I would return to the Pegasus Lounge the next time I am in Leesville, but this is not the type of gentlemen’s club I would drive more than thirty minutes to visit.
