Taqueria Thursday

I was in SoCal with some daylight hours to kill so I drove over to Industry to peep the scene. I was undecided between SR and Synn but figured The Rhino had a better reputation as far as eye candy so I dropped in there first. Parking was plentiful but the door guys took forever to bring back change for my bill. Entrance was $12, with no mandatory drink.

Once inside it was dark with a mediocre looking latina on stage. I sat a row behind the stage to scope out the scene and saw 3-4 dancers on the floor and 4-5 customers. Most, if not all, of the dancers were unattractive latinas with the same body type– petite but a bit thick, with B-cups and no curves. They all reminded me of the girls you’d find working at a taqueria, maybe a bit more attractive but, then again, taqueria workers don’t wear as much makeup as dancers. 2 of the dancers I saw on stage fit this type while 1 other dancer was a thicker persian with curly black hair. The stage was dimly lit, and dancers were hard to see unless they happened to move into a static, narrow blue spotlight. 3 other dances stopped by to introduce themselves; a thickish latina with glasses who looked similar to the other latinas but had good energy, a slim, african-american with a braids, a nice body but an unfortunate nose, and a mature blonde with fake tits who seemed like she’d be fun in the booth. I only found one dancer in the house attractive enough to take for a spin (a slim caucasian with tattoos) but she was seated with a patron before disappearing in the lap dance room with him. After another unattractive latina walked onto the stage, I figured it would be a good time to head down the street and check out Synn. I planned on coming back afterwards to see if the talent improved but felt no need to after my visit to Synn. (It was a much better experience and I’ll review it soon.)

Overall it was a massive disappointment, but maybe the Thursday day shift just isn’t the move for SR. It’s reputation is solid enough for another go at it next chance I get.
