A stop on Tuesday, I probably will go back
I stopped at L&L Gastonia for the first time in a few years. The club is not hard to find, right behind the police station. Parking lot is along the side and in back. I entered into a vestibule where the bartender checked my id and buzzed me in. Once you enter the club is one big long room. The bar is just in front of you and to the right. To the left is the main sitting area (I think there is a pool table there also) and the stage is to the far left. I had been driving and immediately went to the men's room. It was usable.
Inside there were 3 people at the bar, the bartender, the dj and a dancer. Not a good sign. I sat next to the dancer and she introduced herself. The dancer was White, probably close to 40, lots of ink, and okay looking (5 or 6). She asked if I had been there before which I had, my first time was 21 years ago. I knew some dancers from that past that she knew which really opened her up.
I did get a beer. I don't remember the cost, I think 6.50. The bartender then went in the back and I continued to talk with the dancer. She explained that the club is not quite as lenient with the rules as it once was. She told me that there are cameras and the extras of the past are no more. She did say that she would give me a very good dance, but she would stay within the rules. Dances are $30 each, $100 for 10 minutes and a few more expensive choices.
