Speed Dating at a Strip Club

I went to Sapphire's alone early on a Friday evening. It's been several years since I frequented this place (pre-Covid) so I was curious how it might have changed. Unfortunately, the main floor that I remember is still under construction. The valet later told me that it should be finished by the end of the year, but we shall see.

I arrived via taxi and the doorman alerted the girl at the front desk as such which cost me $51 to get in ... ouch. I was escorted to a table in the back of the only room open near the bar that doesn't have any seating at it. The stage was huge and far from any of the seating, so no one seemed to be tipping the lady performing. The stage show seemed more of a distraction than an attraction.

Cocktail service was adequate, but expensive. I don't remembered exactly how much much my martini was, but it was over $20 for sure and the pour was not very generous.
