Don't Stop Believing
I don't think my attachment to this place or my optimism about it will ever go away. I've had very hit or miss experiences here. Some of my fondest club memories and someone my most pathetically average ones.
A lot of people aren't into the dark dive bar atmosphere. I'm a fan. Not the beat part of town, but I've never felt unsafe. Easy parking out front and in the lot with a bouncer. Inside, theres a nice long stage down the middle and often some great skills on the pole. I had my ATFs here for years (Vanessa, then Vikki, then Eve...all of whom are gone. Eve is in Santa Barbara now, but if anyone knows what happened to the first two, please LMK!). For now, I just go with high hopes of finding a new favorite. Sometimes I'm happy, others I'm not. This time, i was not.
Got a $6 coke as usual. You enter on the left side of the stage, which is also where the DJ is. Bar is to your right, as well as some big rounded booths against the wall where dancers frequently hand out on their phones. Lots of seating all around the stage, and the VIP rooms and LDs are directly across the room on the right of the stage.
