"Rumor" has it, this town has a strip club in it (spoiler alert: it does)
I happened to be in the area of the state and I noticed that there was a strip club in this general vicinity. There really isn't very much out here (roughly 1 hour north of Pittsburgh) and while in general, the Pittsburgh clubs are physically nice clubs, they tend to be pricey and (in my experience) rarely do they provide memorable experiences.
This club was opening at 8:00 pm. It's in the middle of nowhere north of the town of Kitanning. The gravel parking lot had about 4 cars in it when I arrived at 8:20. Went in and the club is actually deceivingly large when looking at the building from the outside and physically it was quite attractive. One of the previous reviewers mentioned that the new owner did a renovation. There is a large raised "L-shaped" stage with three poles that is far down to the right when you enter the club. There are seats surrounding the stage. There is also another areas sort of divided off from the stage area with small round tables with chairs. There is a "bar" on the back of the club near the entrance with Red Bull and water (it's BYOB). The rest room was functional and was near the entrance. There is a communal lap dance room with 3-4 oversized sofas without any privacy. And then there is upstairs (more later).
Cover was $20 but here's where it was a little strange. I gave the attendant (guy who seemed to be the owner/manager) $20. He took my $20 - turned and changed it into 20 $1s and handed it back to me (!). I did not purchase any drinks and was not compelled to. At the time I arrived, there were NO dancers and three old guys sitting around (I was the fourth old guy there). So I sat with with 20 $1s at the stage and waited. And waited (there were two of us waiting at the stage -- there was one guy waiting in the small round table area and one guy waiting at the water/Red Bull bar).
