Tried something new at the Frog

I visit the Rustic Frog from the other side of the river (Louisville) about once every six months or so. Not a whole lot has changed over the past 3 or 4 years as far as quality of the experience and flow of the visit, so it remains pretty consistent.

For those who have not been, the building is very private/secluded. It sits at the end of a gravel road in an industrial area. The area has always felt safe. There’s a gravel parking lot and the building does appear “rustic”, but not in a bad way. During later hours, someone is working the front door with a $10 cover. They check ID, but do not scan. The small men’s room is to your right from there, and the club itself opens to the left. Every time I have been there, there seems to be almost as many girls as patrons. Typically on a busy night, there are about 15 to 20 girls, but no more than 30 or so patrons. So you will likely get approached pretty quickly.

The club has several tables and some seating options on the side walls. Plenty of room to sit and scope the place out, if you want to take some time. If you sit down at a table or a seat with space next to you, be aware a girl will likely come sit next to you. This could be good or bad. It may not be anyone you’re interested in. Regardless, I have typically politely said I have just arrived and want to check things out for a while and they will politely move on with a “come and find me when you’re ready.”
