Wanted to try some Manhattan clubs other than Rick’s for a change. After the yawnfest of Flashdancers in Times Square and the desperation of Hoops next door, I ended up back here. Where I should’ve been all along. Albeit about $150 lighter. Fuck.

$20 entry. The suits outside always ask if you’ve visited before. Didn’t want a tour so I said yes.

The main stage is laughable. Tall with no pole. Dancers attempt a sexy shimmy or strut to no avail. Floorwork seems frowned upon. The height makes stage interaction uninteresting. No pole doesn’t exactly help. The tiny raised platform of a 2nd stage isn’t much better. Even with a pole.
