First time there in many years - ok but wouldn't rush back

Thought I would check out this place as it’s been years since I was there. It feels different than I remember. When you come in, the bar is on your left and there is sunken area to your right where you sit with the main stage in the centre and a satellite stage on your right (which wasn’t used when I was there).

I arrived there just before 9 & paid a $17 cover, which I thought was a bit steep. A female manager came over to welcome me and check that everything’s ok. The place was almost empty – very few mungers or girls.

The girls that were there were on the stage more frequently than at other clubs and they turned up the music to a level that made it difficult to have conversations. I can only assume that they do that to make it seem less empty.
