Thursday night - served its purpose

Arrived in to Vegas on a weekend trip with the guys around 2 AM. After we spent about 2 hours settling in to the resort and drinking at the hotel bar, decided we were still awake enough to hit a strip club for a few hours. Initially called Spearmint Rhino for a car pickup but they didn't answer the phone despite trying a bunch of times for about half an hour. I wasn't aware of the hours they'd be open til, and didn't want to take a chance that SR would close, and I did see for sure that Peppermint Hippo was open 24/7 so I gave them a call, asked for pickup, and they came right away. Got picked up in a black SUV, nice ride, cool driver, who took us right over. We walked in to the club around 4:30 AM and I was expecting it to be pretty dead, but there was still a good party going on with a decent amount of girls. The club is kind of dividing into two big sections, one to the right as you enter, the other to the left, and in the middle as you walk in is a giant metal statue of a hippo right in front of the center bar. Mind you it was getting close to 5 AM on a Thursday, so only one side of the club was open, which was enough for what I was expecting. More than 50% of the seats were occupied, and there were a decent mix of girls working. Peppermint Hippo is apparently a no-smoking club, which I didn't know about before, and it was kind of nice to not have that thick layer of smoke in the club, where your clothes reek of after at the end of the night, but I'm glad I didn't try to bring a cigar in to enjoy there. Some of the strippers had their vapes with them, so it seems like that's allowed or at least permissive.

The girls were hot, but I wouldn't put the average hotness on par with some of the top tier clubs. I'd really describe it was acceptable given the day and time we were there. The girls were fun and friendly though. Maybe because we were there pretty late, we had less hustle factor from the girls who talked to us, and there were a couple girls who were interested to hang out and talk at the table and drink with us, rather than immediately hustle for VIP. I noticed dancers were a mix of white, black, and latina, probably about an even 1/3 each. A little disappointed that I didn't see too many girls with big fake tits, most were natural, coulda been the time of day. (night?)

One thing that was a bit annoying was the dancers were extremely reluctant to do dances at the table, and the going rate for 3 songs in the VIP was $150 if I recall. I think it was quoted at $100, but then you have to pay a house fee or buy a drink, I forget what the catch was, but I remember it being more than I planned when I got back there. The dances were great, the girl I was talking to gave lots of contact, but looking back I don't think the price was a good value.
