Lackluster Wednesday Evening

I was in town for a work meeting and decided to stop in to Scarlett's instead of staring at the walls of my hotel room. This visit confirmed for me that any day besides Thursday-Saturday are a real crap-shoot here.

Scarlett's is located in an industrial part of the Tampa-Ybor area. It has plenty of free parking and a security guard watching the lot at all times. I entered and paid my $10 cover which also requires a 2-drink minimum but nobody has ever tried to enforce that with me. When you enter the club, the stage dominates the middle of the room with seating all around. There are couches against one wall and additional tables throughout. There's a separate upstairs area that I've never been in as it's never used when I'm there. There are two doors on either side that lead to the lap dance area and in the corner is the DJ booth as well as a hallway which leads to the VIP rooms and locker rooms. To the left and all the way back is the bar. The place is rather nice inside and the upkeep here is really good. It's a clean club.

One thing I love about this club is that the music and vibe is just right for me. Although, on slow evening such as this the dancers don't go on stage and I am a big fan of stage tipping so that's a downer. There's also no alcohol sold of any kind as this is a fully nude club.
