Swing and a miss...

This Tuesday early evening, 5pm, trip was my second visit to Onyx "Follies Dayshift". I was hoping by being later in the day that there would be more dancers and customers to support them.

My first hint of something amiss was when the parking lot seemed almost empty and the usual tent and guys collecting parking fees were not present. There was a security guard at the entrance who gave a light pat down but didn't charge any parking. Just inside the entrance is the door girl. The normal $10 cover was waived as I flashed my fancy "O" card given to me on my last visit. As has been mentioned, there is a lot of promotion on social media about the management team and I saw 3 of the 5 usually featured. Dan and Byron are legitimately nice guys.

The club has been described well in other reviews, but my overall impression is that it is a nicely furnished club with good lighting, sound system and furniture. I still haven't seen a dancer on one of the stages. Music was more rap and R&B as opposed to the Rock music on my original visit. Songs were full length and not too loud.
