Divey Dances
First timer to the Glass Slipper. Went in on a Wednesday night, around 10:30pm. There must have been a convention in town because the place was packed with customers. Much smaller place than I was imagining from the outside. Basically a dive bar vibe. Cover was $20, I believe. I got a beer and then looked around. There were a few dancers scuttling about -- pretty average. Nothing that really stood out. Some had tons of tats of you're interested in that. Even though the place was packed there seemed to be a bunch of dancers huddled up towards the back of the club talking to themselves rather than hustling the crowd. I didn't see anyone I wanted to approach and was walking back to the front to try and find a place to sit when a dirty blonde approached me. She was probably a 6/6.5, which means she was better than the others this night. We talked for a few minutes and I figured let's get some dances and then call it a night. We settled on 3 for $100. The odd part is that you have to pay up front to a bank teller-type person. Weird. ABC definitely made it seem more like a dive. Then we headed to a smallish open area in the back, past a bouncer, for the dances. We were the only ones back there. The girl was very nice, had good conversation, but dances were meh at best. She said they were strict about the rules and didn't want to get in trouble. Fine. Whatever. She was fun to talk to at least. After the songs (pretty average length for songs, not too short) I took off. Next time I'm town I'll try the place next door instead of this one.
