Mid-week, mid-day, slow but worth it.
Rarely do I have free time in the middle of the day, but I had a couple of appointments in Seattle and found myself pretty close to Kittens. I expected it to be dead on a Wednesday afternoon, as most strip clubs would be.
It always takes my eyes a few minutes to adjust to the darkness in the club. After I paid my cover and got my soda at the bar, I found a seat at the outside edge of the seating area where I had a good view of the stage.
I had barely sat down before the first girl approached me and asked if I wanted a dance. I politely declined, letting her know I wanted to watch the show for a few minutes and relax. Less than a minute later, another girl approached. Same question, same response. There fewer than 10 women working, and there were gaps between stage dances where a dancers name would be called but nobody would show up. It was a little awkward.
