It's Knoxville

Happened to be back in Knoxville for a couple of days and thought I'd stop by for a visit to one of my old haunts. After living in Atlanta (with all its pleasures) Knoxville clubs seem very tepid by comparison.

Same same as before, with $12 entry, BYOB only (soft drinks at the bar) and a decent lineup (decent, not great) of ladies. Stage dances get fully nude after a song or two, and the tip parade begins. Not much floor circulation by the ladies, so you either have to flag one down (which I hate [please let me spend money on you]) or take what you get. I chose the flag down approach. (Question: If your objective is to make money as a dancer, why would you hole up in a corner with other girls and bitch because you don't make any money?)

"Private" dances are in a long narrow room with a beaded curtain. A guard/bouncer/good time killer sits just outside the door and keeps a watchful eye on the activity in the room. Depending on the girl, you can sneak a feel - it's a no-touch (supposedly) club - if the girl is amenable. Some are, some aren't.
