It’s not all bad
Reviews for this place have been fairly negative. Complaints about upselling, scamming, potential safety issues. So I’ve largely stayed away since moving here. But one weds afternoon last month while driving by I noticed a fair number of cars in the lot around 3:30 so I took a chance to stop in.
The club shares a facade with one other company with ample parking facing a busy street. So fairly safe. Enter through 2 sets of double doors and you’ll likely be greeted at a counter. I showed my ID, and paid the cover ($5?) there are two large stages and maybe one or two smaller ones but the the place was empty. Bar is along a wall to the left close to one of the larger stages. I walked to the bar and joined a young aa girl already seated there. 3 girls were there in total. The only other one on the floor when I arrived was a petite red head who was occupied with an older gentleman. I ordered a drink ($10 with tip) and started to chat with the young aa woman at the bar. She normally works the night shift but came in early on a whim. She shared her knowledge about the club. Apparently there’s a lunch offering that was gone by the time I showed up. Her view was that the day shift was hit or miss, but that she thought there were usually more girls present than the 3 there today.
After chatting a bit over a couple drinks each, she laid out the dance options. $25 a song in small booths. 250 for 30 min or 400 for an hr in the vip room which was “more private”
