She ain't what she used to be
I stopped in around 5PM on a rainy Thursday afternoon. Paid $5 to park and a $10 cover. When I walked in the former VIP room had become a roped off area that is open to the rest of the club with red velvet couches. No one was using it.
Wax does not have a liquor license so I got a cup of water at the bar for $2. I sat at one of the few remaining high top tables and watched people playing pool and girls just sitting around. I was eventually approached and got dances from a couple of girls at $5 each. They were just OK, decent grind but no stick shifting.
There was no energy in the club. It was almost sad. Wax used to be my go to when visiting Atlanta but I doubt I'd go back there again. I don't know what caused all these changes but I don't see how they can make it like this, especially with no alcohol.
