No more liquor license
I went to EB on friday night. Signs on the front door said its liquor license was permanently revoked. The doorman also told me before I paid the 10$ cover that there was no liquor. So at the bar I ordered myself a soda that cost me another 10$. The huge square bar is in the middle. The large stage is in the back. The old lap dance room is on the right by the doorman when you first enter. That's a semi-private room with booths along the walls. I was told the fully private VIP rooms are now closed. About 15 strippers were working. There was someone for everyone. Curvy/thin, blonde/brunette, enhanced/natural, white/ AA/latina, tall/short. Most were younger. Two got my notice. Both looked like college girls. One was a beautiful thin blonde. The other was a beautiful curvy brunette. I was told my favorite from last time Brazil no longer works at EB. If anyone knows where Brazil now works please DM me. The club was dead. At times no one was on stage. Most strippers on the stage looked bored. Some didn't even take their tops off or even flash. Everything about the private dances seemed up in the air. No joking my lap dance was literally an air dance with no touching allowed. She only flashed her tits. I saw the same at the stage for only a buck. Cut her loose after one song. Saw others get lap dances and they didn't get anything better. The lap dances are now given in full view in the main room of the club. No privacy at all. Felt awkward. Only very expensive VIP dances are now given in the old semi-private lap dance room. There is no longer any fully private rooms. Lap dance prices were all over the place. Some strippers told me 40$/song. Others told me 50$/song. Some said 40/50 for the first song then 20/30 for additional songs. Same with the VIP. Some told me 300$. Others told me 400$ even 500$. None budged on the price. Some told me it was fully nude in VIP and that touching was allowed. Others said only topless and warned no touching was allowed. There was not even any consistently with the time. Some said I would get 15 minutes. Others 30 minutes. I looked inside when I walked by. The room seemed brighter then in the past. The VIP being given were topless not nude. Looked like just a regular bump and grind. Nothing extra special. So it was a hard pass for me. Way too expensive. Nothing guaranteed.
Apparently management is banking on the club being 18+. But no kids are going to pay those high prices. I think the club has to change to survive. With their legal troubles they probably can't do BYOB. But they can lower prices or offer more affordable options. I would go even with no alcohol available if there's good looking strippers and reasonably priced dances. I would buy a topless air dance out in the open but not for 40 or 50$. I would spend more for a semi-private nude dance but not the 300 to 500$ options currently being offered. Probably will still check out EB again next time in the area.
