Great dances and bad dances

Bare Elegance
4824 W Imperial Hwy Inglewood, CA 90304
I hadn't planned to go back to the Bare but I got a call from a dancer I used to see outside the club when she worked at another club. She was at the Bare for a few nights at least and I wanted to see her again. I took a Lyft because my car was in the shop all weekend so I didn't have to mess with parking fees and I still had free passes so I didn't have to mess with admission prices. I spent about $20 on non-alcoholic beverages and tips for the server and threw another $50 or so on stage for the dancers. My big disappointment was how many of the ladies had writing all over them. I hate tattoos but can tolerate them in moderation. All these women had them all over with no logic to design. It was like they walked into a tattoo parlor, gave the guy a big wad of cash and said do whatever you like. My friend was the only there when I walked in who I would have considered getting a dance with. I did see two on my way out though who might have interested me. The club was medium busy. The mood was kind of sour but I can't fully explain why. This used to be a very happy place full of ladies who either liked working there or were good at pretending they did. This time, none of the dancers who were new to me seemed friendly, not even one who got a large chunk of that $50 I tipped when she was on stage. My friend though was friendly although I don't see a resumption of our outside the club relationship. We talked a bit and then she surprised me by saying she remembered she owed me $200. I honestly didn't recall giving her any money and if I did, I would not have expected to get it back. I told her to forget about it and she suggested that she give it to me and then I spend it on dances and a tip. How could I refuse that offer? So we did three dances and no money came out of my wallet. They were good dances too. I'd go back if I could get that deal again. But then I let another dancer talk me into a set of three and it was all air and ice. Not much contact and she did it with that "let's get this over with" attitude that we've all experienced and which makes us not go back. I probably won't unless my OTC friend goes back. BTW, she swore to me she doesn't do that anymore. That's once of the reasons she won't be doing it with me. I've done a lot of reviews here of the Bare and I should remember to reread them before I set foot in that place again. They might remind me that what I loved about the place is gone and is not coming back.
