I didn't want the upscale "gentleman's club" experience like you get at Scores (also, I didn't have a corporate credit card), so I asked around and was directed to Lace. It's a nice, laid back place with some really good looking dancers. $15 cover. Before I had even gotten my beer the women were asking me if I wanted a dance. I put them off for awhile so I could settle in and enjoy the entertainment, but finally I got a couple of dances from a Russian dancer, then a couple more from a Ukrainian (apparently Russians and Ukrainians have been coming to New York in droves to work in the sex industry). The dances were $20 per son and great - no contact from me, but lots from them. I was told we could get much more friendly for a $300 private dance, but I declined. All in all a great time, and - considering this is Manhattan, land of the $15 cocktail and $20 hamburger - not too expensive.
