Let's say, just for a moment, that your wife discovered your strip club habit and wanted to know how you possibly spent so much money at a club, while you continue to insist that it is all good clean fun. Taking your wife to Shotties is the get of of jail for a high-price card that you should play.

Cover goes up and peaks at $30 after 2am. However, they and Scarlett's (a block away) are the only places in Denver that can serve booze between 2 and 4 (actual last call is closer to 3:30 than 4). They check IDs at the door. The bouncers are friendly, but armed, which is disconcerting.

Once inside the layout is nuts. There are six or seven small circular stages with polls and seating at each one. Not all stages are always in use, and the dancers move between stages (more thoughts on this later). There is a bar area and a restaurant area, which I believe has food until close to 4. In terms of general "just sit somewhere that isn't the stage" your options are very limited. This is good, because you can tell your wife that on other visits the bar is always full so you had to sit at a stage and continuously tip the girls $$$. It is bad if you want girls to approach you.
