Tired Monday

I’ve had fun times other days, but a recent Monday visit was a disappointment. The dancers were all low energy and just looked tired, with little effort to engage or even smile. Most were nicely curvy (or a bit pudgy), but just kind of swayed on stage and circulated for tips like it was a chore.

Dancers are primarily Latina where you will have to figure out how to chat and communicate what you want. Two girls do 2 or 3 songs on stage in bikinis or lingerie, then come around inside the bar for tips. Most want you to slip a dollar into their top, but on this day there was a lot of just handing it over. I didn’t catch a lot of names, but ended up getting 1 dance with an unremarkable grind from a dirty blond before calling it quits for the day. There was a thinner girl on stage when I left (any experience with Amanda?), but I wasn’t moved to hang around.

Dances are $20 for 4 minutes in an open room made up of hard wooden benches. Most everything is in view of the timer/watchdog, though he rarely seems to be paying attention. VIP is $100 for 15 minutes in a mostly enclosed space right next to the timer. The club is in a safe place in the center of town with easy parking in the train station lot behind the building.
