Anniversary party
After hearing about it for years, I decided to check out the anniversary party at the club. Pulling up I didn’t appreciate how massive it was. All parking was done in the satellite lot across the street. You could park yourself or valet park and they had a shuttle going back and forth which was nice in the hot sun. The club lot was fenced in and set up like a mini carnival. Potato sack slide, dunk tank, food tent and a stage. It was so hot and humid I didn’t last long and headed inside. If I recall there was a cover even for daytime. The downstairs area was packed to the brim- party atmosphere and a lot of girls there to hang out, dressed up in costumes, etc. at least when I was there they only had one dancer at a time which I thought was odd.
With the heat and packed floor I decided to bite the bullet and get a membership upstairs $300 for the quarter- no deal on the anniversary). Glad I did, it was much cooler and nice and quiet. Ended up running into Lisa (petite Asian) downstairs who is a good conversation and fun to hang out with if you click. After a drink at the upstairs bar we headed further up for a private room. I’m not sold on the new rooms….. nicer than the first floor but they feel less private.
After a nice session I walked around taking in the scene and then called it a day. It was a hike to get to my car but didn’t want to wait around. I’d say the party is not great for getting dances, etc and more to hang out and let loose. I’m sure it was a blast later at night but the girls are more there to party with each other than work.
