Dances on a strict budget

Went into PH very late while returning from Baltimore to north Jersey. Had an itch to scratch, and had an interesting dilemma. Didn’t have much cash and didn’t have my ATM card with me! Figured there was no place like the playhouse to scratch that itch, though. I believe I had $47 in my pocket.

Arrived, and the first thing that happened was that I was charged $15 upon entry. Not a usual circumstance as I usually go during the daytime and I usually pay $10 for my beverage, I think. It took me aback but I pushed onward. As most of you probably know by now, it’s a mostly square bar with a rectangle stage inside where one girl will dance. Other girls will circulate around trying to get you to get a dance. Some will ask for tips and others won’t. As I was on a defined budget, I was hoping for those who wouldn’t on this particular night, seeing how it would go!

I got my bottle of water, giving one of my dollars to the bartender, while keeping in mind that $30 was the critical lap dance number. Three different ladies visited, and fortunately the first two were not looking for singles, but for dances. Their pitch was fairly low energy as it was late night - one was an older Brazilian and the other a tattooed Philly native. Not my type in either case - at this time the question of finding who was my type with such a limited budget was a big one.
