Summer Visit to The Lodge

Due to a schedule change at work, it's been about 3 months since I had last visited. I was a bit nervous about visiting during the summer months because many of the dancers that I had talked to were saying how it really slows during the summer and many of the girls either take a break or go elsewhere until fall. Wanting to see for myself, I headed over on a Thursday. I parked in the free parking lot and paid the $2 cover. I got a soda at the bar and saw two of my current favorites already sitting there, B**** and K****. I talked and caught up with both and got 3 songs dances from each for $100. After that I mostly hung at the bar and scanned the room to see if any other favorites were there or if any others caught my eye. After a while I began to realize that there were only a handful of dancers at the time. This was dayshift during the week so naturally it is going to be slower, but it felt even more limited than usual. I give it another try after Labor Day as it is likely that more dancers would come back by then. In all, it wasn't a total bust, but the effects of summer were very apparent.
